The snow which made yesterday a very stormy day lay this morn about two inches on the level and it hardly stirred from where it fell.

The dry dust which covered the ground would necessitate a heavy (snow) fall to make sleighing.

I went to Scranton with Ma this P.M. to bring out her bed room suite.
