January 30, 1902

This has been the finest day of the week which has been a very stormy one.

It thawed a little today but spattered snow all forenoon.

I have had a very bad cold today and feel quite unpleasant now; hope twill improve in the night.

Wanted to write to Luella tonight but was too sleepy.

I spent most of the day chopping on the forty.

Henry went to Scranton today with the sled.

Sleighing is fine.

W.F. Harlow was here yesterday taking the assessment.

He said that the Friends had closed their meetings after receiving 50 converts.
